China Building a Strong Automakers and Dealership Sector

China is starting a program to get more people in China to buy cars. They are instituting a 5 point program to jump start a strong auto manufacturing, sales and recycling industry. 1.Support the merger of smaller automakers and the design and production of new inexpensive, environmentally friendly and energy efficient cars. 2.Create a used car and auto recycling and repair-renewal market. 3.Cut the cost of new cars and rebate recycling of old cars. Capital and subsidies will be made available for auto disposal and renewal. 4. Make it easier for rural people to get new cars by expanding into and developing the rural auto market. 5.Give more credit for loans to automobile buyers. And provide more innovative and affordable loan programs.
Sounds like China is doing it differently and with a better view to the outcome than the US or Canada. Somehow it sounds like a better idea than “Let Them Go Bankrupt.” Create jobs and boost the economy, not trash what we have and put everyone out of work. © Reverend Bishop Paul Coulbeck 2009
